Praying To End Abortion

We are partnering with our friends at Brephos to bring together people passionate about prayer and protecting the unborn in a national rhythm of corporate confession, mourning, fasting, repentance and intercession until abortion becomes illegal and unthinkable.
The story so far
When the House of Lords voted to allow the decriminalisation of abortion up to birth on 19th March 2026, many Christians were grieved, and rightly so. Further steps towards unfettered, industrialised and state-sanctioned shedding of innocent blood, blood that cries out to God from the ground every day, should shock us. It has been a wake-up call.
We believe there is a need for the church in the UK to stop what it is doing for a season and really, truly, deeply and sincerely mourn as our Lord does. Surely the Lord wants to pour out more of the grief He feels into our hearts, that we might draw near to Him and repent.
Perhaps the approaching sixtieth anniversary of the 1967 Abortion Act is an opportunity to do just that.
As we began to talk with and listen to various Christian leaders regarding our desire to come together and mourn, we found some of them were hungry to do the same thing. Our friends at Brephos were particularly keen and came up with the idea of a schedule of monthly coordinated meetings, open to all. Together we began to actively plan these meetings.
We hope they provide an opportunity for more and more Christians burdened for our nation and its babies to come together, seek God deliberately and persistently for an end to abortion, listen carefully to what He says back to us, repent in response to what He shows us of His heart and ours, and share that precious journey with one another.
We believe God can and indeed longs to do it. In obedience we are coming in faith to touch the hem of His garment, believing that if we do touch Him, and He by His power gets a hold of us, He can stop this national bleeding. Only He can do it. May He do it for our babies, our mothers, our fathers, and all for His glory!
We're just getting started
We're still building partnerships with other leaders and organisations, and are so grateful for their input and support. We're also still building this new webpage!
We'll post details of up-coming meetings, helpful resources and other relevant announcements here so keep an eye out for new updates!
Monthly events
To include as many people as possible, we are holding physical prayer times once a quarter, with online prayer meetings on the other months. The event schedule for the coming months is shown below. If you can't join with us, you're still invited to pray - please see the prayer guide for each month's event.

Help as you pray
We've developed two practical booklets on intercession and repentance, which we recommend you read as you get involved in this movement of prayer. Visit our resources page to read online or order physical copies for free, or to watch videos in which we teach through their main elements, watch our "How To Pray" playlist.
We've also previously written a short and simple guide for those who lead prayer meetings. If that's you, please download the guide, and get in touch if you would like any further support.
